One year ago, I walked into FNR to discuss my struggles and goals, wondering if I would be a good candidate. That day changed my life for the better.I’m an active person—I love working out and going on adventures. But severe back pain had taken that away from me. I didn’t feel like myself and feared I’d never get that person back. I was on multiple medications that weren’t helping, leaving me frustrated, confused, and angry. Now, after a year of working with FNR, I’m finally myself again! With the guidance of FNR and my rheumatologist, I’ve embraced a new way of living—avoiding foods that trigger issues and focusing on those that fuel my body.I’m sleeping better, have more energy, feel happier, and my stomach issues have improved. Best of all, my back pain is completely gone.If you’re struggling and feeling lost, I encourage you to talk to FNR and see if you’re a good candidate. My only regret is not starting sooner.

“Before working with FNR I had many struggles. I was overweight, sluggish, not sleeping great, losing my hair, bloated, gassy, joint pain and just overall felt blah. Sadly, this felt normal to me and I blamed it all on my thyroid disease.

I signed up for a webinar, and everything Jennette said hit home and made perfect sense. After a consultation on the phone with her I knew I had to dig deeper into what they could do to help me. Again, it all made perfect sense.

I didn’t even realize how bad I felt until I felt good! My main concern when I contacted FNR was extreme hair loss. What I learned through my program was that hair loss was just one of the problems I was facing health wise.

Working with FNR has been life changing for me. I see food now as fuel for what my body needs. Not only did they walk beside me through every step but they taught me everything I needed to know to carry this new lifestyle with me forever. The education I received about food, exercise, stress management and just general wellness through FNR is invaluable.

Now, I am sleeping well, I’m not bloated and gassy, I’ve lost weight, I look forward to exercising and moving my body, I don’t feel like I need a nap in the middle of the day; I just feel good!

Thank you to everyone at FNR for what you do. I’m grateful that I found you and took the leap of faith for my health. Now I have the energy to play with my grandkids, get things done and enjoy life! I’m not perfect by any means and I’m still learning but I know I’m headed in the right direction!”

But a lifetime later, I saw Jennette’s webinar on Facebook, and I thought, it sounds like that lady could help me. When I went I was very willing to do anything to get some help.

My whole body was in pain. I started the regimen that was put before me and even though it was tough for the first couple of months I stuck it out. Still am.

They are helping me so much. And, I’m not in pain anymore! Thank you everyone!”

“I have lived with varying degrees of eczema for nearly 40 years, and I never seemed to be able to control it. I knew some things about it, but other things were a mystery. I just figured it was my lot in life to have “skin problems.”

Dermatologists had been giving me steroids and really no lasting solution to my eczema. The more I read about steroids and creams the more I was alarmed. I finally figured out that steroid creams from dermatologists were only a temporary fix that only damaged my system. I had to do something else.

I had vastly underestimated how much my poor diet was affecting my body and gut health. I also learned a lot about doing the best to keep my body free of chemicals and irritants.

While I struggled with the pace of my program (due to very busy work and life), one of the best things it did was provide accountability. I knew the FNR team was monitoring my progress while offering suggestions that they believed would work. They were expecting me to improve, so I had to improve. If I didn’t have someone in that role, I doubt I would have made all the right choices to get me where I needed to go.

Now, I am much better. The inflammation, which triggered dry, inflamed skin, I was experiencing has greatly subsided, and I feel a lot better. That was a big thing. Besides my skin, there were other health improvements, including cholesterol, digestive issues and weight loss (I lost 35 pounds).

My healing is not complete, but I know I am headed in the right direction. Thank you.”

“Before being introduced to FNR, Oliver’s health had deteriorated to the point that he was constantly uncomfortable and sleep was impossible.

At the age of 5 he was experiencing constant, streaking hives all over his little body, a mysterious rash over both of his elbows, GI distress, volatile mood swings and extreme fatigue exacerbated by the fact that hives during the night kept him from settling to sleep.

After months of visiting a variety of doctors and trying to conquer his circumstances on our own we were no closer to a diagnosis or to getting him any kind of relief. When I heard about FNR I noticed that they genuinely seemed like they would be able to help our son. They listened to our concerns, respected our intuition as parents, and set to work on a plan specific to Oliver’s needs. Every step of the way they were there to answer questions and offer guidance.

We quickly began to see improvements in Oliver’s health and quality of life once we started with FNR. We discovered the cause of the mysterious rash and were able to address that immediately. The functional labs revealed the causes of his other symptoms and although it was a long process to get to the other side it is obvious now that it was absolutely worth it!

We made changes to his diet and environment all throughout his program and each thing moved the needle on his health in a noticeable way. We are now on the other side of the program and he is like a new kid. He can play and sleep and eat without worrying. FNR gave us the tools to move forward with confidence that we are doing what is best for him in every way.”

“I struggled with really bad GERD – almost every meal caused discomfort because I had trouble chewing food small enough to go through my esophagus without causing pain. It made me dread meals. I had already had my esophagus scoped twice, but refused the prescription medications due to all of the side effects I had researched.

My knee joints and ankles hurt most of the time, especially climbing stairs. I had no energy to complete daily tasks. I would take three hour naps every day, and it was so hard to get myself back up to finish the day. I had terrible brain fog, and could not function to plan any daily tasks, much less focus on the weeks ahead. I knew I needed to change my diet to get rid of the inflammation, and sought out a plan.

With the FNR program’s personalized approach, my first visit was very encouraging – they had answers and aligned with my belief in healing naturally, not by use of medicines. I have learned a lot about the foods I eat, and what they are doing to my body.

Now, my esophagus has healed, and I am able to eat without pain. I no longer need three hour naps. I have a lot more energy, and expect it will continue to get better. My brain fog has let up and I am better able to function and plan my days. In retirement with my husband, we enjoy gardening and outdoor life. Now, we both started going to the gym, and I love the feeling of strengthening my body. That has made me want to do even more to improve.”

“For over twenty years I had intermittent bouts of diarrhea. Then, in May 2023 I was prescribed an antibiotic that caused my gut issues to become a daily problem and sometimes multiple times a day.

When I finally found FNR I was taking a drug to slow my gut motility and six Imodium everyday, and still having symptoms.

I knew that if I didn’t do something different I would be on more and more medications until I was taking drugs to counteract side effects of other drugs. I was also suffering from joint pain and knew traditional medicine would prescribe more medications for that if I went to a doctor.

Now, life is unbelievable! Amazing! After only three months, my gut issues have resolved with no diarrhea, no cramping, and my joint pain is almost completely resolved. I have tons more energy and have even begun losing weight which I had not been able to do in the past.”

“Life before FNR was so depressing. Everything I did throughout the day just added to my discomfort. Eating was not enjoyable. It just left me nauseous, and bloated for hours. I was constantly tired. It was unusual if I slept for more than 2 or 3 hours a night. I just felt awful and my body wasn’t working like a healthy body would.

I was at the end of my rope. I was ready for someone other than a regular doctor. I wasn’t getting anything but the same thing from them. I was looking online and reading about different programs. I found FNR and started reading. I got an appointment and decided to try it. It wasn’t the same old thing a doctor would do for you. It was something I had to do for myself.

So far, my FNR program works so great for me. I talk to my coach regularly, and I like that everything I have a question about is answered quickly. I feel like the staff cares and is involved. I am regularly encouraged to keep up the good work. The real work comes from the FNR staff.

I wasn’t sure anyone could do anything for me. I am 20 years into a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis. FNR has made a world of difference. My body is working and feeling so much better. My husband is so supportive of me and follows along with me as much as he can. He says that it has even helped him, also.”

“I have been in nursing for 52 years and have worked every department and every shift. I have raised 5 daughters, and was always very active with biking, walking, swimming, and sports. As years went by, the fatigue, insomnia, joint pain, and dizziness started getting worse. Hand pain from arthritis was also creeping in. I was worn out.

I told myself I was going to do research and come up with a positive plan to better myself. And I did. I found FNR and signed up.

Well as healthy as I thought I was, and I do exercise and eat mostly the right foods, being a weight watcher, and reader of healthy eating and lifestyles, my lab results told me otherwise. Oh boy that was a shocker! So I told myself this was going to be a long journey which I needed to approach as an advanced course in college that I needed to ace. I have met and read and been coached by amazing, caring and knowledgeable people.

It is really interesting and unfortunate that there is so much promotion to eat unhealthy foods, which stores are full of them. It is a challenge to find the good ingredients in foods. In my own evaluation I have not rated myself as having achieved being excellent, because I am and will continue to be a work in progress, and I always have room for improvement. I am very thankful for the resources I have, the wonderful caring people I have met and now the better quality of life I have found.

My sleeping is getting better, the fatigue I am working on, which is none on some days. I enjoy exercising again and have walked over 250 miles since I started. I hope to start riding my bike again since I stopped due to dizziness which is also less. I am calmer with myself, I have learned and relearned what makes me feel and stay well, it has made me look into myself as being someone who is truly important to myself and the people around me.

You know our Lord put us on this earth to be well, happy and help others. My journey in this course has been a long and not always easy one of learning, wins, setbacks, and self awareness and satisfaction. Thank you to all FNR. God Bless you in all you do.”

“Before FNR, I was consistently struggling with digestion issues and inflammation in my joints.

I have struggled with an autoimmune disease for the past ten years that caused inflammation in my joints. This inflammation caused me pain and limited my physical activity. I have struggled with digestion issues most of my life. Many nights I went to bed early because my gut was bloated and hurting. I went gluten-free five years ago. That helped but didn’t completely resolve all of the problems I was having.

Then, I was diagnosed with breast cancer on January 9, 2024. Since that time, I’ve been through three surgeries and recoveries. After healing, I was ready to do whatever work it took to get my health back on track.

I knew I needed to make changes, but I didn’t know how to help myself. I knew I needed professionals to guide me through the process to get healthy.

Working with FNR has been a learning curve, for sure. I am grateful for the help. I couldn’t have accomplished all of the changes on my own. I needed the education, coaching, support, and accountability.

My program has helped me take back my health. I’m sleeping better. I’ve lost weight. I am having less inflammation in my joints. I do not feel as physically restricted as I had been feeling. My digestion is so much btter. I feel like I have more energy. I couldn’t have made all of the changes to my health without the education, coaching, support, and accountability I’ve received through my program.”

“Before FNR, I felt like I was a 30 year old trapped in an 80 year old body. I was diagnosed with lupus in 2021, and had been in “remission” for about 2 years since going on immunosuppressants and long-term steroids.

Even with my symptoms and labs seemingly stable, I was exhausted all the time, experienced joint/muscle pain & weakness, stressed/anxious, significant brain fog, weight gain, hair loss, and would take weeks to fight off an illness. I grew more and more frustrated that I kept getting the message that this is just what life was like, and I didn’t want to accept that.

I had just gotten married, moved back to my home state with our family, and was working in a career I loved. I felt there had to be more to life than doing the bare minimum everyday and requiring long periods of recovery at night and on the weekends.

When I moved back to Oklahoma this summer, I had another lupus flare where the pain started to really interfere with my daily functioning. My parents, who also have autoimmune disorders, had completed their programs with FNR the year prior, and saw amazing results. They were active, looked great, and felt great. I wanted to take my life back and feel like the 30 year old I am.

Since starting my program with FNR, I feel my age for the first time in a long time. I can move and exercise my body again and feel good doing it. I’ve lost weight. I don’t lose as much hair. My energy and brain fog are so much better. I can do more in a day than just work and recover on the couch. My anxiety and stress have lowered considerably. I can do my hobbies again. My immune system is fighting illnesses off more effectively and I’m able to bounce back so much faster than I used to. I’ve recently started lowering my dosage of prednisone in hopes to come off of it completely.

My quality of life has improved so much in just a few months. While it’s been hard, it’s been so worth it. I’m incredibly thankful for what I’ve learned and the habits I’ve created with FNR’s guidance and support.”

“I’m 63 years old. My health wake-up call came a little over three years ago when I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 292 lbs.  Over the next two years, I dropped from that initial 292 down to 240 – 245, roughly 50 lbs down, but that seemed to be my plateau. I was stuck there for a year. Worse, I was beginning to suffer some muscle loss. When I stopped to assess myself, I realized I had several other issues that had crept up, but I kept telling myself I was “just getting older.”

Headaches were a daily occurrence, I ached most days from the time I woke up until I went to bed. My wife and I often joked that we should buy stock in an ibuprofen company. I didn’t sleep well and woke up several times a night. Insomnia and I were good friends, and he came to visit me often. I’m retired and spend my free time as a writer, so that didn’t really bother me too much. I could make my own hours and usually spent any time I woke up working on one project or another. I just told myself I could take a nap later in the day. But I also dealt with brain fog, and as a writer, that was becoming a big problem.

I’ve never been a big proponent of the medical industry’s practice of treating the symptoms rather than the root cause, and I’ve explored all sorts of alternatives. But no matter what I tried, I couldn’t seem to get a handle on my issues. I realized I needed help, and it needed to be from someone who would help me find the cause of my problems, not just give me a pill to treat my ailments.

I was beginning to believe a lot of my problems were related to normal aging and testosterone loss, and we happened to mention that to someone who told us about Functional Nutrition Resources. That was October of 2024. We went in for our initial consultation and loved the FNR approach.

Working with the people at FNR has been eye-opening, to say the least. The labwork identified the reason for my muscle loss, and no, it wasn’t “just getting older.” I was approaching Type-2 diabetes.

Within weeks of starting my program, my wife and I both started dropping extra weight. I’m currently down to 225 lbs, and while I still have a ways to go, I’m feeling better than I have in several years. I’m more energetic and can feel the brain fog lifting; I have stopped losing muscle and am using the extra energy to exercise more. I have little doubt that the lessons and habits I’m acquiring with FNR have gotten us on the right path… the path to a healthier life where we will be able to spend many, MANY more years with our children and grandchildren. Thank you all!”
