“Before finding FNR I was struggling with many things. Diabetes, I had just received heart stents. My energy level was very low. I was weak. I was depressed. Most of all I was uneducated about my health issues.

FNR was exactly what I was looking for. I searched the internet for alternative medicine near me and found FNR. The message of treating the root cause was exactly what I felt I needed.

I never felt like any of my Doctors were interested in helping me fix the things that were causing me the problems I was having. Their interest seemed solely in treating my symptoms with countless prescriptions.

FNR totally dove in head first at looking for the things that were causing my problems. and far exceeded my expectations.

Now, a huge positive change for me is the fact that I no longer take insulin. Before, I took long acting insulin shots everyday along with fast acting insulin shots before each meal. It is truly a blessing to be off insulin shots. I have great energy and I am getting stronger everyday. I could not be happier with my progress to this point and I look forward to continuing my journey with FNR.

I tell everyone who will listen how amazing my program has been at FNR. Everyone I know sees the positive results in me and they say so all the time. They all ask about what I’m doing to get such noticeable results so I get to recommend FNR all the time.

It’s important to me that you know, that I have never worked with a single Doctor anywhere that could ever convince me that they wanted to cure anything. I feel like you guys are exactly what health care should be.”

“I was diagnosed with Crohn’s about 3.5 years ago when I was freshly postpartum at the age of 23 and I have dealt with the ups and downs that it comes along with.. especially being told I have to be on medication for the rest of my life that made things worse and caused other symptoms.

I was struggling to even find the energy to get out of bed most days let alone do simple tasks like showering or cleaning the house. I was struggling to eat more than once a day as I was afraid I’d end up in the bathroom, and not be able to take care of the kids or myself. I was miserable and couldn’t do anything unless I planned out bathroom trips or making sure there was a restroom nearby.

My body ached, whether it was my bones or my muscles or just my skin, it felt like I was covered in inflammation and almost as if I felt like I was 30-40 years older than what I am.

Now, I have noticed a drastic change in my daily bowel habits! I also have not dealt with any joint pain, my bones don’t ache and I don’t have any muscle cramps like I typically would. My energy has increased for sure! I’ve been able to get up and take care of the kids, make food for everyone and get all of the chores and daily living done.

If you aren’t perfect, don’t give up, just start over every day and keep going. It’s a daily life change and it doesn’t happen overnight but it will happen eventually and you’ll be so glad you stuck with it!

I’m so glad I had faith and trusted in God and the process!”

“Before FNR, I was constantly fatigued, lacked motivation, had daily headaches and achy joints. These all kept me from being an active participant in life with my family and friends.

I have a friend who had tremendous results at FNR, but then I saw an ad for a webinar so I signed up. I felt like Jennette was talking directly to me about all of my aches and pains, fatigue, brain fog and inability to lose weight. I made an appointment as soon as the webinar was over.

The changes have been dramatic for me! I have lost weight, I am sleeping soundly through the night. My energy level is high all day long and I am productive and efficient at work and home.

My skin is clear. My joints and feet are not constantly aching. I share with family and friends all of the time because they can see the changes and want to know where they’re coming from!

Every person on the team has been so kind, patient and encouraging. The level of support and accountability are excellent. Everyone is willing and available to answer questions, explain something further or clarify at any time.

I was in such a rut with my health and now I am thriving!”

“Before working with Functional Nutrition Resources, I felt stuck and frustrated with my health. My energy was inconsistent, and even on days when I tried to do everything “right,” I still woke up tired and hit afternoon crashes that made it hard to stay focused or enjoy time with my family. I felt like I’d been piecing together advice from everywhere without any real clarity.

I was also dealing with symptoms that felt random, and I couldn’t tell which foods were helping or hurting me. The constant stream of conflicting nutrition advice left me overwhelmed and unsure of what to trust, and that lack of clarity made it feel like I was just managing symptoms instead of actually living.

Instead of offering another one‑size‑fits‑all plan, FNR’s message focused on understanding the root causes, connecting the dots, and creating a plan that actually fits real life. That made me think, “This is what I’ve been looking for.” It felt like a place where I’d finally get guidance that was structured, supportive, and tailored to my specific struggles rather than generic advice I’d already tried.

Since beginning my journey with Functional Nutrition Resources, I’ve noticed a real shift in how my body feels and how I move through the day. My energy is more stable, and I’m not dealing with the same unpredictable crashes that used to derail my afternoons. I feel clearer, more in control, and more confident because I finally understand what my body needs instead of guessing. It’s made a noticeable difference in my mood, my focus, and my ability to enjoy time with my family.

This is the first time in a long time I’ve felt like I’m actually making progress – not just trying harder, but finally doing what works for me.

If someone were considering joining Functional Nutrition Resources, I’d tell them that this is the first approach that actually made sense and felt sustainable. I was skeptical at first – mostly because I’d tried so many things before that never really addressed the root issues – but FNR’s process felt different right away. It wasn’t about quick fixes or generic advice; it was about understanding what was really going on in my body  -and giving me a clear, personalized plan.

Now I feel more confident, more informed, and genuinely hopeful because I’m finally seeing progress that feels real and lasting. I’d just add that this process has been more encouraging and grounding than I expected. It’s helped me understand my body in a way that finally feels clear instead of confusing, and that alone has taken a lot of stress off my shoulders.

I appreciate how supported and heard I’ve felt throughout the journey – it’s made the changes feel doable rather than overwhelming. Overall, I’m genuinely grateful for the progress so far and excited to keep building on it.”

“Life before FNR was rough to say the least. I had random pains in my neck, stomach and arms. I was constantly exhausted, even with a night of sleep. I was not regular (bm) by any stretch of the imagination. I also was emotionally spent. I was on a rollercoaster that was headed to a very dark place.

I had worked with a naturalist doctor after having complications from my daughter’s birth and I knew I had gotten relief then. So when I came across FNR’s website and read their purpose and read testimonies, I was hooked. I knew this was the place for me.

Now, I feel like I have done a complete 180. Now I’m not saying things are perfect or that I don’t have some learning and cleaning up that I still need to do… However, a good majority of my joint pain, stomach pain and constipation are gone. My emotional roller-coaster is almost nonexistent and if it does come around, I have learned ways to cope or keep from letting it take over.”

“Before I began working with FNR, I hurt all over like I had been working out hard at the gym, but the soreness never went away. My fingers were stiff and swollen; at times I wasn’t able to wear my rings. Even my hips and knees hurt.

I actually thought I had RA, and my doctor assigned me to a rheumatologist. I dreaded reaching down to pick something off of the floor, and when I’d sit or stand from a chair, I would groan. I would wake up at night because of pain.

I am a person who has exercised since college. Pain forced me to stop exercising for a time and completely changed what I had been used to doing for years. In fact, just walking down the block seemed impossible.

After my rheumatologist told me we were “going to wait and see” and to come back in 3 months, I saw Jennette on Facebook. Every symptom she mentioned seemed to scream, “That’s me!” So I signed up for a free webinar and the rest is history.

Once FNR started regulating what I ate, I felt better within 2 weeks. The chronic pain and stiffness was better, and by the 4th month, I felt normal with the exception of my knees and hips. But, that pain is much more manageable!

Since working with FNR and their caring staff, I feel normal again. I have my life back.”

“After having Covid my health changed for the worse. I knew something was wrong with me but I could not get anyone to listen because my blood work was “normal”.

I was extremely fatigued, severely constipated, overweight, overwhelmed with the normal household chores, unable to mow the lawn or tend the gardens. This year (2025), I hired both a house keeper and someone to mow the yard. I was losing my ability to function.

I could not walk around my neighborhood like I have for the past 25 years, because I couldn’t breathe normally. If I did make it around, I had to take a 3 hour nap to recover. I had a hard time focusing, reading and concentrating. I didn’t have a life and I was concerned.

Now, I am no longer constipated, I have good energy, I am no longer overwhelmed by any of my responsibilities, I no longer need a housekeeper, I did keep the gal who cuts my yard because she is a friend and does a great job, but I am sure I could do that.

I just had my hip replaced and I am sure when I am ready I will be able to resume my walks. My heart is more stable than it’s ever been and my blood pressure they tell me is good.

I’ve lost 25 pounds. Losing weight was easy because of what they taught me. I can concentrate, read and stay focused again. It took awhile, but I did figure out what foods I need to stay away from. Having that knowledge helps me to (mostly) stay on the straight and narrow path.

I understand that food is medicine for my body, it is not entertainment – that, surprisingly, was a difficult mind shift even though I knew it was true. There are a lot of “drinks and foods” that are billed as something fun and enjoyable. Reading the labels quickly shows me what is healthy and what is not.

Best of all, I have my life back and I feel better. That is a huge blessing! I am so grateful to FNR for all of their help and hard work to help get me well. My experience and results are well worth the investment!”

“I was dealing with quite a bit of Arthritis pain having to take anti-inflammatories daily and muscle relaxers almost everyday. I couldn’t do any major work outside without having to take muscle relaxers or Ibuprofen for it. Honestly, I thought I would have to deal with it forever.

My sister showed me FNR, and I took a chance because modern medicine was just treating the symptoms. I was skeptical at first.

Now, my health has vastly improved. I got off of my anti-inflammatories, working on getting off of my acid reflux medicine, and very seldom have to take tylenol or ibuprofen maybe once a month. So it has really helped me out and they have been great to work with. I am currently down 30 pounds and still losing.

Honestly, I didn’t really think it would help. Something had to give though – I wasn’t getting anywhere with modern medicine. I just kept getting worse and I didn’t know what to do. So this has really improved my outlook on things like getting off meds that I thought I never would get off of, to losing weight again and just feeling better over all.

I cannot recommend this more to people. You just have to be willing to make a full lifestyle change. This was hard at first but now it is really easy. So if you are needing a change in your health and you are not getting anywhere with modern medicine, I recommend this is something that can change your life.”

“Before working with the wonderful people at FNR, I was struggling to get through the day. I had constant fatigue. The kind of fatigue that went all the way to your bones, and it took everything I had to get through the day. I was in a busy season of life and was starting to feel overwhelmed by the amount of things I wasn’t able to accomplish in my day.

I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis about 2 years ago. This autoimmune disease was causing joint pain, inflammation, digestive issues, and again….constant fatigue. It was affecting every aspect of my life.

When I was diagnosed, the first thing the doctors did was give me a list of medications to take. Those medications came with major side effects. I was determined to wait as long as possible before taking them. I knew I had to do something before it was too late.

My symptoms were just getting worse. I was now missing important events in my life because I had nothing left in me. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I decided I had to do whatever it took to get better. My health was now my priority. I did lots of research and kept coming back to FNR.

Now, my life has completely changed! After just a couple of weeks I was already starting to feel better. I really noticed it about a month into my program. I was out in the barn feeding our animals late in the evening at the end of a super busy day. As I grabbed a bale of hay I noticed my hands didn’t hurt as much. I stopped and realized I still had energy. I wasn’t even tired. When that realization sank in, I sat down and cried right there in the barn. I was so grateful to have my life back!

In the months since then I have felt even better. I now go to the gym 5 times a week – something I had not had the energy for in YEARS! My inflammation is getting better, my joint pain is manageable and my digestive issues are starting to improve! More importantly, I feel like I have been seen and heard. For anyone struggling with an autoimmune disease or chronic illness, it feels like no one takes your health issues seriously. That was NOT the case at FNR. All of the amazing people at FNR actually listened to me and actively worked to help me feel better. They truly care about you and your health!”

“Life before FNR had ups and lots of downs. I was in pain every day. Some days I was still able to function and do my job. Other days I could not even lift my head off my pillow.

I never knew how I was going to feel day to day. I experienced chronic insomnia, extreme fatigue, brain fog, skin issues, and depression. I was drinking lots of caffeine and sugary drinks just to get through the day.

I chose to work with FNR because it was the first time I felt like someone listened to me and had an answer that wasn’t just medications with side effects that were sometimes worse than the symptoms they were supposed to be treating.

When I first started I was not sure what to expect but I was quickly encouraged by rapid weight loss and increased energy. I am able to get to sleep easier and while I still don’t sleep well it is much better.

For the first time in my life, I feel hope. I have hope that I won’t have to live with chronic pain and fatigue. If I have questions I know I can get answers. Everyone has been so encouraging to me and I feel like I am part of a family. I think I will be able to continue getting healthier as I stick with my program.”

“Before FNR, my life was fine, yet not optimal. I wasn’t feeling like myself, and I wanted to be the best that I could be. I wanted healing in both my mental and physical health.

It took a few months to feel or see any progress. However, I kept following my program, and little by little, I experienced remarkable and noticeable changes.

We moved here from Indianapolis in September of 2024, and I began working remotely. By March, I was angry inside, and just not feeling good about anything. On Facebook, I saw that a webinar was being hosted by Functional Nutrition Resources and decided to sign up. The rest is history!

My focus was on achieving optimal health both mentally and physically. I hadn’t taken any pharmaceuticals and wanted to make sure that I never took them. FNR is entirely devoted to each individual’s specific health issues/concerns. In my personal opinion, it is vitally important to focus on our own health. So many of us put everyone else before ourselves. However, to care for others, we must properly and purposefully care for ourselves too!

Now, I’m sleeping better, eating healthier, and exercising in a strength training YMCA group class three times a week. I feel incredible, invincible, and unstoppable. A complete success in my book!! And my husband is happy that the woman he married has returned.”

“Before FNR, I was constantly tired and just didn’t have energy to do anything. I was always so bloated even before I had eaten anything. I was also so irritable. Little things would set me off – I was mad or sad about everything.

I wanted to make a change other than just taking more medications. I also wanted to know the education behind why I needed to do certain things, and what it would do inside my body.

Now, I have much more energy. Even after eating a bigger meal, I feel full but never in pain or uncomfortable. My emotions feel so much more in check even just after a few weeks. I feel like I react to stress so much better.

The longer I do this, the easier it gets to find meals, and it boosts my confidence in a way I wasn’t expecting. I am just feeling like I can handle this and continue making the changes I need to.”
